WOW just WOW congrats on that find

After seeing such a nice find like that I am dreaming up all kinds of ways to come up with the remaining funds need to buy my first metal detector (thinking the F75).

Right........(deep breath) yesterday was a pretty awesome day!! Haven't been out for a couple weeks so jumped at the chance to catch up with me old mate Foiled for a hunt. Nothing amazing after a couple hours - a couple bucks and a few thrups, then Foiled called it a day I decided to stay on for another hour or so & you guessed it the last dig almost at the car got this real dodgy signal...it was really hard to locate as it was only sounding of in one direction & seemed to move around so I almost walked away haha anyway out popped the 1856 half sov, feeling pretty stoked with myself & almost back at the car I thought "shit I didn't rescan the hole" so back I go & this time about 6 inches from the first is a sweet 55-56 which produced the 1902s half sov, ( snap Num8!!) I guess they where kinda masking each other?!

Also picked up the silver earing which has a wee bit of gold in the middle & a handful of silver coinage.

Forgot to mention that this place has been well hunted but seeing the success had by the chch posse in the old spots really gets you thinking, cheers fellas

Hey Robbie no probs i'm glad someone asked me that as ive recently changed machines from the F4 to a F70. Its taken me awhile to learn & if you don't have it set correctly to your environment it will drive you nuts, Yesterday I had it humming & it produced the goods, its an awesome machine!!
