Here is some of the better stuff found from four evenings (it was slow going, targets everywhere) at Outram building site. The old house had been demolished site scraped, profiled and string lines up, so was perfect for knowing where you had been.

Lots of other stuff including matchbox toys, misc copper, lead, lead head nails etc.

Best find I think (which my son found on last afternoon) 1897 Diamond Jubilee medal with Garrett & Co's Sweets are Pure on the reverse side. Also 1906 UK 3 Pence, 1922 UK Half Penny, 1922 & 1938 UK Pennies, couple NZ Half Pennies, Serpent pendant, Cool Lions head hook, couple of rings, couple flat buttons, brass bell, Postal tag.

Some awesome finds there Iggy. The top three in my books are the snake buckle, the Jubilee medalette and of course that amazing WW1 lions head slouch hat hook, Keep up those great finds and keep posting. Obviously lots of good stuff to be found in Outram!

New hunt # 11 last night, been eyeing this place up for a while. Decided to try slightly less sensitivity and go with the 'low and slow' approach. Was pretty much targeting the goldies ($24) had first 4 or 5 notched out heaps of the older tabs and screw caps. Only scratched the surface so will get back out there again.

Good luck out there Iggy.

Hunt #16. Should really be taken on the edge of a toilet seat and then most of it pushed over the edge, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Interesting bunch of stuff.. I hate the 1&2 cent coins too. if you ever get permission to hunt primary schools you'll understand what I mean when you pull 50, 60 or 70+ of them in one hunt... sad thing is they sit right in the bigger silver range.

Thanks #8 yes I agree, great to see peoples finds and it gives you incentive to get out there after it. My next on the bucket list I guess is a Half Crown.
