Looking at taking a mate gold panning and sluicing next weekend he has never been what would be the best fossicking area to go to we will be camping have a good of road truck also wouldn't mind doing some hunting all we will be running will be a keene sluice and couple of gold pans also have a garret at gold or may be there may be a claim holder that wouldn't mind use having a poke around any info would be great just don't want to step on any body's toes

Arrowtown is good you can always get some colour, or Moonlight creek near reefton thats always good, hope this helps.
