hi there.does any one know if you can get a jet boat in the buller river at kawatiri junction and is it worth doing some gold prospecting.thanks

yeah just upstream of kawatiri there is a road down onto the river flat. id be very surprised if you couldnt put in somewhere there

Just becareful, as there are many permits around that area, including the entire Buller river inlet beaches, and much of the Westport coast.

There's good colour to be had below the gowan bridge on the bend in the buller about 8 km down stream from the kawatiri
