As an extension of the code I've got running that automatically updates the Permit Map, I'm creating a new "Permit Watch" service that you can subscribe to for email alerts when new permits are applied for, expire, etc.

In the interest of live testing and feedback while I'm developing the service, who would like to receive email subscriptions about various gold permits? If you are then let me know which permits you'd like to get emails about:

Permit Applications:
New ones? Y/N
Updated ones? Y/N
No longer shown on map? Y/N

Active Permits:
New ones? Y/N
Updated ones? Y/N
No longer shown on map? Y/N (they may have been revoked, rather than expired)
Expired ones? Y/N
Soon to expire? Let me know how many days / weeks / months in advance you want to hear about them

Extensions of Land to Permits:
New ones? Y/N
Updated ones? Y/N
No longer shown on map? Y/N

You'll need to PM me with an email address and how often you'd like to be emailed (every day / week / month / etc.). You'll only get an email when there's something new to report though.

In the future I'll be making extra criteria available such as area e.g. "only tell me about new gold permits within Otago". If you've got any ideas for extra criteria I haven't thought of yet - please let me know.

Obviously the majority of you are likely to be into this for gold permits, but it's not much extra effort to make this available for other mineral types either. So if you're interested in any others listed below, let me know:
