Sometime when I'm researching locations I find that Google Maps doesn't quite have the satellite resolution I'm after for a spot or the area is covered in cloud. I've recently stumbled upon another free map service which often has surprisingly superior satellite imagery to Google Maps - Nokia's Ovi Maps.

Cheers Glen, the map itself on http://koordinates.com/ is using Google Maps just like the Public Prospecting Spots Map on Paydirt ;)
