This sucker pump body has a 40mm inside diameter and is 400mm long so will easily fit into your backpack. The Retention chamber body is 100mm long and the spout is 130mm long to reach into those cracks n crevices.
Clean out down to bed rock and suck out the gold from the cracks n crevices (called sniping) with this Weekend Prospector hand suction Gold sucker/pump.
Dig down as much as you can with a shovel to the bed rock. Then use the main pump body without the nosey parker gravel sucker retention chamber end fitted (as in the photo's), you can extract material from the stream bed rock or holes and dump it directly into your pan or bucket for fast efficient clean up of material as big as 38mm.
When down to the tiny cracks n crevices, or if you spot a piece of gold jammed in a crack or sitting on the bed rock, attach the nosey parker retention chamber to the end of the pump body and simply suck the gold up. It will be drawn up inside the retention chamber and drop into it without any risk of falling back out. When you have thoroughly cleaned out the cracks n crevices or think the retention chamber is full or close to full, you twist and slip it off and dump the concentrates into your pan for processing.
