The thread lives!!!

Out with fellow detecting enthusiast Foiled last night on that never ending search for Sovs & it paid off! haha still makes the heart skip a beat pulling gold coins out the ground.

It really was the perfect night for detecting & after much discussion about where to go (which is becoming harder & harder these days!) decided to give ol mother hag a rest & went for a busy park that still has plenty of stuff in the ground. This Sovs signal was a bit different from the rest....it was lying flat in the hole but was really choppy...mid 40s to mid 60s....only dug it cos it pinpointed really well.....would have normally expected a odd shaped piece of crap.

Anyway we both did really well with Foiled pulling up silvers all over the place....will certainly be goin back for more!

Forgot to mention it's a 1901s full Sov....still lookin for my first shield reverse! Maybe next post haha.

P.S. Could make a nice first post to the http://community.paydirt...g/show-tell-and-identify category, especially if the consensus is to migrate across ;)
