Yep top of the south it was, the x-terra 70 is still doing me well, detected around 4.5 to 5 oz to date.
The nugget is pretty clean, found in about 4inches of water, sitting loosely in the bedrock think it may have been tossed out in the big flood last year, said a few choice words when i got flicked it out!!
Cheers

G'day Steve, Good on you mate. I am back home in Whanga now so my gold detecting is on hold until I head south again. Not sure when that may be. Have to settle for what the Coro can cough up to me in the mean time.

Good luck out there

Regards

John :)
