Greetings all,

So the lovely wife bought be an F2 for my birthday. Never done any metal detecting before, but i am interested in coin/relic hunting for now, so prepare for some stupid questions.

I live in Hamilton. (Someone has to)

Cheers

Hey mate. I just got a fisher f2 and i also live in hamilton haha. We could meet up some time for a hunt. I went down to wellington street beach today and found 2 new zealand pennies in the first 10 minutes so there are some decent spots in hamilton i think. Good luck

Gidday Eraserhead

Hopefully you will do as well with your F2 as the others on here. I have a Minelab Quattro and sometimes I wish I had a F2 as well. Originally from Huntly and ran away to join the Navy to get away from the place. Welcome to the group

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes dudlite, it would be good to meet up sometime for a hunt. As I am still new to this I've just been playing with the instrument in the backyard at this stage, to try and get my head around it...

anyway, I reckon the only way to do it is to just go for it, so I will probably hit some parks soon.
