Another reminder that its that time again next Sunday at 7.30 ish.

A better turnout last month, some lively discussion and heaps of recent finds to mull over and admire.

Any thoughts on where the club should go from here or whether it should be structured could be discussed if desired. (I've spoken to Phil up at the Auckland club and picked his brain on a few things). Just a thought.

Anyhow, all welcome, hope to see you there.

Turns out I have the rest of the week off, maybe some of next week too :)

Would be fun to bring along some freshly dug nuggets/flakes....

Anyone keen to pack a bag, chuck the detectors in the boot and head south/west for a detect? ^^

I will be there on sunday.
Wont be able to bring in my recent finds from sunday though. Expat didnt come out for a hunt on sun and if I showed him what I found he'd probably throw his garrett pointer out the window and head to western austrailia to look for gold! Anyway up to 23 threepences! Cheers Mike.

Dammit, wish I'd joined you now.
At least you would have rid the field of all those pull tabs ready for my visit next weekend.

Added another early 1900's find to my show n tell folder for the meeting today from Hagley :)

Ended up with 5 silvers and a 1908 penny, along with the usual other bits of clad/rubbish. Pics on my BLOG.

Heading out again, very early tomorrow morning, hopefully be somewhere in town by about 0630 :)

Thoroughly enjoyed going through your blog Ash. Would have loved that Victorian halfcrown you scored last week.
