People, Clubs and Meet-ups Introduce yourself, clubs, hook up with fellow gold fossickers for some adventure. Locations and Permits Locations to find gold... There's gold in them thar hills! Tips 'n' Tricks Share tips and tricks on how to find gold, techniques, etc. Show and Tell Show off your gold finds and provide some inspiration for the rest of us! Gold Detecting Metal detectors - makes, models, coils, etc. Equipment - Light Light hand-held equipment such as gold pans, sluice boxes, crevice suckers, etc. Equipment - Heavy Heavy equipment such as dredges, etc. Equipment - Commercial Serious mining equipment for the big boys. I like the new layout that your,ve put together,and think it will work well.its the best of both worlds. Its hard to please everyone, so a middle of the road approach will work best i think,keep up the good work. p.s. hope to see you at one of the monthly meet ups soon.

Any suggestions for the title tweak? Less categories - which ones do you think could be dumped? I know there's a lot of duplicates with the gold ones, but there's a lot of people that will have an interest in only one or the other I reckon. Thanks again for the input :)

Just as well you dont live near me otherwise you would get pestered - by the use of bribery, graft and temptation if need be to make me a website.

If I'm anywhere near you I'll give you a shout and see if you want to catch up ;) The near future is not a good time to be down here if you want to come visit my lace as it is under snow at the moment and sort of a 'white wilderness' with deep snow drifts and totally unpleasant to anything except Polar Bears, Penguins and other Polar species... you know you are welcome to come down and have an explore but wait until the weather is better! As for the blog thing if it is easy to work and sort of keeps my threads together then all good as my son who is on this site - only to spy though - knows all about these blog things as he has a blogspot himself. I had not added anything in any case due to a seemingly lack of interest and had decided to maybe turn them into a private diary on paper for my kids instead.
