It's got extra switches, so will be more expensive. :)

A variable vibrator - woop de doo!

But on a more serious note I think that vibrate only mode
could be just the berries as I cant always hear my pro pointer
with my headphones on.

The only useful difference to the Pro-pointer seems to but the "Auto Off" feature. The PP can also have its sensitivity adjusted by simply turning off and on again next to a target, the Pro-Find is just as water resistant as a factory Pro-pointer, and the vibration or sound mode is a useless accessory as the PP does both at once anyway (mine actually makes very little sound as I have plugged up the speaker with silicon to fully waterproof it).

Its good that there is now some competition to the Pro-pointer, but I would like to see the Minelab undercut the PP's price so us consumers can benefit from the competition. I somehow think this won't be likely though......

Thanks for telling us about it.
If it is as good as the pro-pointer, it will be a good machine.
I can't see any extra "must have" features, so it will be interesting to see how sharp the pricing is.

Interesting. Certainly designed to go head to head with the Garrett. It will need to be just as good but a good bit cheaper to muscle in on that market.

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.
