Just back from sluicing at Goldsborough on the West Coast. Got some nice flood gold this year. There have been some huge floods over the past year and it seems all the gold is found in the top layers now.

You must be an older type prospector, as I notice that you are still using the good old tin pan. : )

That's because I'm an older type person!!!

I've got about 4 of them. When I wear them all out I might try a plastic one.

how many days work is it and what was the total amount of gold? i might try there next season.

We were there for 3 weeks in total. Take about a week out for bab weather and trips to town etc.

There's about 9 grams total, however I got 6 grams in the last 2 days! Had to leave a real good spot so I gave it to an Aucklander who wasn't having much luck.
