im travelling to danseys pass tommorow and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on settings to have the detector on or where to look cheers
if pulltabs were gold rings, id be a "trillionaire"

lachie, you will be lucky if the goldbug does you anygood on danseys pass..depending on where you are going it is mostly very fine gold and the detector wont pic it up....there are a few places up top nearer to nasby that you can find nuggets and maybe even one or two in from the bridge up from the holiday park if you travel in a couple km's..but in the river itself is stuff the detector wont get as it is way to fine.

Thanks Pooh, ill be back down to danseys in a couple of week, where would you recomend on heading to give me the best chance
ps no luck last tim plenty of iron and crap, cant wait to find a picker :)

the best chance i would say would be up at the doc campground befor the hotel if you are going from the holidaypark side of danseys..but if you coming from the nasby side then it would be just after the hotel.... but if you are staying at the holiday park then go up to the bridge whre the river splits and take the right fork and go in a Km or two...i have been told small nuggets have been found in there.
