Ok I'm itching to get a new detector, no reason apart from a burning feeling in my pocket :)

I have a gold bug pro with three coils and love it and it does all I ask of it. I am looking to go a bit further up the chain and having looked at everything else on the market the only choice that fits is a Fisher F75. I originally was looking at PI machines or the Deus but in reality I wouldn't benefit from their features much, if at all.

So to those that have used them... is it an upgrade in terms of performance/depth/discrimination/usability etc?

I of course have seen all the specs/reviews etc but its real NZ user opinion I want as I haven't got any opportunity for a hands on appraisal.

Oh and are the gold bug coils interchangeable with the F75?

TIA

Hi mike..unfortunatly the goldbug coils dont work with the F75..different freg i think it is....depth i think will be roughly the same if you are using an 11dd on either machine...the 75 has a faster responce time and great discrimination...i have used it and have seen it pick up very small nuggets in crevases with th 5inch coil...to give you an idea of how small im talking 11 nugget for just on 1 gram... 7 of those nuggets were found in 1 crevase..the others indavidually.
althought it isnt specifically designed for gold it has proven to be a very good gold machine and i am starting to beleave the reveiws i have read about how well it finds gold and how well it preforms in hot rocks.

Also with the f75 you can get the 15 inch coil which ofcourse will give you great depth.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Chris,

I'm almost convinced, well talking myself into it anyway :)

Do you have stock? Would like a rain-cover as well.
