Hi all. Can anyone tell me if the f4 detector is any good for prospecting gold?

Although the F4 is not specifically designed with prospecting on mind, it will however pick up gold if you get your coil over it & its not too small - Check out youtube as there a a few vids there of F2's detecting gold so a F4 will have no worries -

If you are looking for a very cheap & very effective gold finder for small gold the Tesoro Compadre is certainly a surprise -

However if you are looking at prospecting most of the time then your better with a designated gold detector -
