Hi Brook how u doin?,

I caught up with you about 7 months ago in Havelock where you were working i think i showed you some of the nuggetts that I had found that day.

RE: your dredge at 3.5hp you might get away with a 3inch at best.??

If you are looking at changing from a suction nozzle to a power jet i made my unit by using a metal table leg that taped down from about 40mm to about 15mm over a distance of about 500mm.I then cut the leg on a 12 degree angle and welded it to the steel tube at a 1 degree off set.

Works a treat and cost next to nothing and fun to make.

The Nelson recycle shop have the table legs most of the time.
If you get stuck I can do a basic drawing and post it for you.

Hope this helps,
Cheers Steve
