Hey folks I got out for a detect straight after the flood, we had 100mm of rain or so. My brother came along again although he didn't have any luck with the detector this time. Was hard going as the creek was still well up. We found half of these guys in a gravel bank that we dug into a bit while the creek sluiced the base away. My brother pulled a rock out and saw a piece of gold stuck in the mud on it (picture). And a group shot of the new additions to the family.

And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
