Hi guys, Went out for a couple of hours for a detect after work the other night & got 4 little bits for 1.4 grams. I would have walked over these bits dozens of times as they were on an old 4x4 track that I use as access to some old workings. I was actually walking back to my wagon having got nothing off the old workings. It was dark & I had my headlamp on & just detected up this track for no reason other than I had nothing for the night & thought....what the hell. The gold gods were smiling down on me. LOL :) Minelab GPX 4500 & still got on the Nugget Finder 17 x 11 coil. Loving that combination. The piece on the right is just over .5 of a gram & was down 4" in a schist crevice & was a definate sweet mild signal. Had gold written all over it. The others were down about 2" & were also in schist crevices.
