Here is my crevice sucker that I have just made. Very easy to make with good sucking power.
the black rubber is just a tie rod boot cover off a car and the pipe is 60mm..
You can use it like a izi to hold more material or without.
I also have different nozzles and a bigger material mag.

Hi Jimmy, interesting idea. Do you need any check valve to get heavy material into the chamber at the side of the Y joint or does it just fall naturally while the water goes out the nozzle.?

Hi kaka there is no valves as I didn't want to make it to complicated:) the nozzle goes right up to the top of the Y so should fall in by itself.. just like a snuffer bottle.
nafcd I just made this 1 for myself..very easy to make yourself. The rubber boot was $15 from super cheap and the rest was stuff that I had at home. If you want to make 1 just give me a yell if you get stuck.
The best part is no sand or grit will effect the suction unlike normal syringe types that need a tight seal.

Thank you very much Jimmy- I will certainly try making one-I was wondering what would be the effect if the tube didnt go to the top of the y joint-if the collection chamber is pointing down do you think the heavy material would still collect there or if it is left open fall into a bucket or pan left underneath. I know all the water would slosh out there also rather than through the nozzel.

you would need some kind of 1 way valve if you wanted it to go into a pan or bucket..all the suction would be lost without the chamber or a valve:) im shore you could suss it tho

Jimmy-sorry to ask one last rather basic question. What did you use to seal the top end of the bellows. Many thanks.

hi man nothing is glued ,the pipe fits into the Y really tight but if I have any problems I mite use a small screw to hold it together. I want to use it both ways or I would glue some of the joints...remember you need to get the gold back out of it lol
I added some more pics and I keen to see other peoples versions if you make them.thanks

I must be looking at the wrong parts. The ones I have looked at are open at both ends. Was assuming Y joint fits into large open end but there is a smaller hole at the other end on the steering bellows I have looked at and I thought this would need to be sealed.

I just used a knob off a jig saw with washer and bolt to seal it...
