Those late night hunts seem to pay off for you. I don't know what it is exactly but night hunting seems to heighten the senses somehow. I often get my best finds after dark. Do you use headphones?

Yes I use headphones, I concentrate on the sounds more than ID, and I think the late dew helps. Pulled up a 1908 silver Brit shilling tonight with a high 90 ID which is usually aluminum or screw cap, but the sound was different so dug it
