Yeah thanks,I got a Garret AT gold for my m8 this weekend ,great deal on trade me from a fella just back from oz.I tested it on my test pieces and it was good compared to my White,s mxt for an air test seemed like over twice the depth. But the ATX is obviously a step up again getting a foot and a half..Brilliant result for first day.Congrats to you.

18 inches?3.6 grams? That's interesting... theres a you tube clip where a bloke compares the gpx5000 with the atx extreme on a 5 OUNCE flat slug and the atx only just picked that up...
At 18 inches...
And did you find the smaller nuggets near the bigger one? Cos they aren't water worn at all.

Just curious...

Hi Nuggets4u

The three smaller flakes interest me. Can you take another pic with your camera, but add a ruler and see if you can get the pic clearer.
Then I might make an offer.

Cheers Trev

You gold hounds have probably never heard of catfishing, or how to catch a catfish

This catfish was very easily caught

This 'nugget' was found by a sydney sider in 2009 using a Minelab 5000
