Hi All

As most of you know some time ago we had a guy selling Coromandel Gold ore. He turned out to be a scammer.

We now have another member selling gold and various bits of gold equipment. In fact all his posts relate to selling.

We do not know him. And he has made no posts other than the sales offers.

He indeed may be a genuine seller. But already questions are being asked. Today in Queenstown it was snowing, followed by high winds and rain. Hardly the right time to head up the Twelve Mile, and score a big hit. A very brassy nugget found at 18 inches. Seems to me that one aint seen water for a very long time. Three very rough flakes of gold, showing no sign of water and gravel action. Found in the same spot. But looking like desert gold to me. Well thats what they look like. And they appear to have been acid treated.

I have asked the seller to take another pic of the three bits of gold flake with a ruler in the pic. And a clearer picture.

And I await comfirmation from one of the buyers that they have received their goods.

At this stage until the seller can comfirm his bona fides I suggest the utmost caution.

Cheers Trev

Different backgrounds to all the pics of gold.

Now, if he was selling Nike shoes, then I could understand it :)

Hi All
Darren

I did indeed go fishing. As soon as his for sale posts started showing up, I tried to buy as many as I could. To lock it down so guys on here wouldnt be ripped off. I only managed to secure one. And then I started asking difficult questions. A fish is caught by the mouth. Even catfish lol

I never intended to pay him. But buyers now have his name and bank account. Its up to him to establish his bona fides by a successful post of the sale item to a paydirt member.

Which will be very very very doubtful. And yes he caught a few methinks. The public counter at the local Police Station is a good place to start.

What say you nuggets4u

Its actually 2.6 grams, and its from australia

Scam artist, and not a very sophisticated one at that.

Good find Darren

I was on the net for several hours trying to find where he stole his pics from. But you hit the nugget on the head. Well done.

Sadly he has done his devious work. The Prick.
