hi does anyone know where i could get an accurate set of scales for weighing small nuggets and pickers cheers.

Hi, not sure how much of a look around you've had but scales are fairly pricey for the accuracy you probably need. I found some at the warehouse once for about $20 lol, which suprisingly went down to 0.1 of a gram. But that's probably not fine enough for gold I guess. I imagine you'd need to spend hundreds to get anything with more accuracy, but I could be wrong.

After typing all that I decided to check ebay and came across some that go down to .01 gram, and they're only 6 pounds! Scales seem to have gotten a lot cheaper since I last looked a few years back, doubt you could find any like that for that cheap in New Zealand though, once again I could be wrong, and probably am! lol

You should be able to pick up a good set of scales at at sports shop i use a set for weighing powder when reloading bullets and they seem to weigh right down to small amonunts, They range in price but should be easy to find hope that helps.

Go to dicksmith electrical ,they have scales that are very accurate.About $40 i think.

hi nin,i got mine off trademe.they weigh to 0.00 cost me $24.tested them out on a ten cent piece which is exactly 3g and found they were very accurate

Lots on there down to 0.1 of a gram and convert to oz,gram,troy oz and dwt between about 15 and 40 bucks...
