When logging in, I used to be able to tick the remember me box and it used to keep me logged in for around 1-2 weeks. Now it logs me out in less than a day.
Did some setttings change? Because it would be good to stay logged in for around1-2 weeks.
Thanks.

Happening to me as well.

I use the RSS feed because it puts new posts directly into my Mailbox on OSX. Annoyingly, even if I've just logged in, when I hit one of the posts in the RSS feed, when it goes to the website, I'm logged out again. Something is not right.

Yes, I'd noticed this one too. It's been an issue since we jumped to the new hosting company. I've not had a lot of spare time to investigate and have left it for now as I figured it's a pretty minor issue.

For the fellow 'puter nerds out there, my guess... originally the site was served up from a single server. With the new hosting I believe the site lives on a server farm, existing on multiple servers. I think maybe the login cookie is has a value encoded on it linked to an individual server in the farm. When your next page hit gets served up from a different server this value is no longer valid and so the login is invalidated. Might be a quick fix using a "machine key" or something that I can set in the config. Will investigate when I'm a bit more time rich.

That last paragraph has probably sent a few you to sleep or sounded like white noise :P

I've just made a little tweak that should hopefully resolve the logging out issue - will find out if it worked soon enough I guess! ;)
