Hay steve all your hard work mate'' The house burned to the ground the older house from what I know, it was rented out mum and two kids they got out but the house is gone

Shit what a bloody mess,

Did quite a bit of reno work on it, sad to see it burnt down to the ground, good news with the family, all are ok.

Summer is not far off so will be on the hunt again very soon,

Well I'll be, the old house has gone.
All your hard work in the kitchen up in smoke, hopefuly they have insurance and a new house is built.
Keen to get back to the camp for a fossic soon.
Are you still coming to CHCH this month ?

A quick glance at the permit webmap will show that little ground remains up the wakamarina without permits on it. Those heading up there for a fossick should check in with claim holders. Alternatively wearing camouflage and hoping the bullets miss is an option.
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
