The third of January swung around and off we went on the summer camping holiday! We took the ctx to test it's strength in fresh water, on fresh water beaches and in mineralised dirt.

The ctx performed very well and with one helpful mod, became a water hunting beast.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL CTX3030 WATER HUNTERS:
replace the ctx3030's control box o-ring with a thicker one:
Composition: Nitrile Butadiene Rubber,
Hardness: 70
Inner Diameter: 79mm
Thickness: 2.5mm
This o-ring is a lot thicker and better fitting than the standard one.

Now on to the finds:

Hi LittleKiwiDetecting,
Unfortunately, there is nothing special in the foreign department. No silver and nothing pre 1950s.
Most of the coins are modern Australian but there are some Mexican, Fijian, etc etc.

Cheers, TD.
