Had my first really good hunt. 8 pre-decimals. 1 coin cache. Shotgun shell, lipstick case.
(Thanks to MW for the idea of a black B/G) and sorry for the image being blurry. I'll try and get a new photo.

Nice ship Ha'penny. I'm yet to find one of those.
Looks like you had a good hunt.

It was a great hunt, aswell as the ship half penny being the first halfpenny I ever found.

Another hunt at a well detected spot.
12 coins including a U.S. Dime pre-decimals were 1956 penny and a 1950 half penny.
also scored a lead buckle and $9.50 in goldies.

I like number 3, bend pieces of copper/brass always give me a sense of nostalgia - since they could have been held in the hand, in similar condition by some person a hundred years ago ( and because I've become so jaded by rusty iron).
All of those pieces are quite fascinating.

Do you have pictures of the jewelery you've found this year? ( or was that in another post)

That piece #1 is a lever out of an old mortice door lock, the sort that had the big iron keys that cartoon jailers carry.
#4 likely a piece of coat hook

Sounds like a house site to me...
