Check your lower stem (the carbon/glass/plastic one that connects to the coil) for freeloaders!
Just found around 170g of sand and silt accumulated from many hunts inside mine, despite copious rinsing after every trip.

5 minutes of wiggling with my wifes best knitting needles removed this lot!

When taken off machine, it weighed 298grams, cleaned out...128.

Balance is so much better now LOL
