Is this a coin? It seems to have a number but I cant see anything for the country or the date. It looks like sanscrit though. It is alluminium and pretty munted. It has been hit by lawnmower and the reverse is totally unrecognisable.

looks like a token of sorts..but not sure..but different than the normal coins we finding chris..lol

Whaty is on the other side - it looks like a coin and possibly from Thailand or Siam...if you can get a photo of the other side I will look in my coin catalogss for you.

I think you're right about the sanskrit, so likely to be Hindi or similar.

I think the figures might be "25"

The other side is totally mucked up. There is nothing that was there originally....covered in corrosion and munted by lawnmower. Thanks for the ideas though guys.

I am 95 percent certain that it is a coin from Nepal and 90 percent certain that it is a 25 paisa coin.

If it is a late one it will be aluminium I think.

I am pretty certain that the script on top reads Shri Bhavani

It looks like the numeral 25 in the middle and on the bottom it possibly reads Pacchis Paisa
