Had a bit of beach erosion in the harbour which has seemed to stir up some goodies.
I have found two of the Somerville tokens in the last week but the last one was in worse condition.

WOW!!......the token is cool but that button..........speechless.......Just an awesomely awesome find, capped off with amazing awesomeness. Just think of the history that it represents and what it has been likely to have seen during NZ's early, turbulent times. The mind boggles! Love this stuff.
Thank you for sharing.

The excal was never out of favour mudwiggle, it just wont get any use where I am going. Will be back to nugget hunting!
number8wire - cheers for the enthusiastic reply.

These came from a beach where I have found almost only old stuff. Even the rubbish is old.

A couple of outstanding finds for sure, man that button is in super condition. Tokens are always a sweet find especially when they are in good nic.
Well done!
