I often use a snap lock clear plastic bag on my detectors.

ok good thought thanks,will have to find a big one to fit over it,i presume the zip part goes to the bottom of detector box?

Yes that's right.
You may need to cut one panel of the bag vertically in the center of the snap
to allow it to fit around the handle. Then just snap close it from each side towards the center.

I use a clear plastic vege bag and just wrap it around the control panel and a bit of sticky tape.

I don't use anything coz mines water proof *8^P

or you could try asking rgmcbrid as he is the fisher dealer and will probably have the BH contact. I've been giving him a lot of good press lately (I should ask for commission).
