back home after a few WET days not to wet so as to bring rivers up

spent a few days walking through the bush at the north end of lake kaniere
there are some serious workings in this area, lots of mine shafts and drives

goldsbrough produced gold on the third evening just some colour just before dark worked down to bed rock and was just starting to look productive

Weather and other things dependent we (partner, son and me) were hoping to get back over there the weekend after this (24th-26th August). The previous trip we were a 20 minutes to half hour up the creek at a small bend digging under boulders. Brigid got the gleam in her eyes when she found some colour and said we must come back the next weekend, but reality dictated otherwise. The wee boy was catching lumps of clay instead, so he said. Will look out for a caravan and anyone else maybe there.

Hi Kiwi, if I get a chance in next few days I'll look you up, as it's not too far from my place to Goldsborough. Nuggy
