Heya!
Decided to share with you, my AU guys about very interesting aspect of Living in Auckland CBD

I live in a big Apartment blog that usually occupied by Young professionals and international students and every weeekend someone is moving in/moving out and leave a lot of stuff behind .
Living just over a year in this particular building i've :
*cleaned and sold over 5 good vacuum cleaners
* couple Computers
* trillion of Uni Books
* obtained some really nice clothes (i am talking about brands 300$-1000$ per item, like Ralph Lauren and so on)
* some nice Furniture
And much Much more , i sold stuff for over 1000$
I found ceveral Silver/and gold Pieces being thrown away in gift boxes! , example :
* 9Ct gold /Sapphire studs earrings
* multiple Silver rings
* silver pendants /earrings, chains and many more

But yesterday find,beat everything -
I got Platinum Wedding band thrown away in a box :-)

Oh no! i was wondering why it is so light....

Its Silver! it says Plata 900 , but it is actually company name that does jewelry ,

a few years ago back in australia while i was dumping some rubish at the local open refuse tip i found a ladies yachtmaster rolex watch in a green felt pouch and about two metres away was a nice leather covered dark wood rolex box aswell but no papers for it so the swiss shop wouldnt touch it but a bloke that run a local clock shop passed it as authentic. i gave it to my aunty coz im a nice bloke lol..

people throw things away all the time without realising what they are doing. My doctor told me how his wife had taken her rings off her hand and for some reason had them in a tissue on her lap whilst driving. Then she eat an apple or something and put the core without thinking in the same tissue and biffed it out the window of the moving car on the motorway. She realised what she had done and they stopped and searched to no avail. Lost in the verge for us metal detectorists to find one day! hehe.
