Is wife's creation, does remind me of the Commonwealth medallions created in the 1950s at Melbourne Mint.

Hi, Why not inquire about advertising on this forum. I'm sure its reasonably priced to have a permanent link here on the equip page. I'm surprised not more detector and gold gear agents haven't bothered to invest. It would undoubtedly also support the guys who have set this forum up and give you street cred also. street cred = business.

my question is if you are an AU rep for teknetics why aren't you listed as a rep on the teknetics website:

see below:

http://www.tekneticst2.com/dealers.htm#Australia

I have emailed them to ask them if you are a rep.

(sorry to be suspicious as the teknetics brand is one like minelab and whites and fishers copied by cheap chinese knockoffs)

Where are the prices? I was looking for ages???

My greatest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my collection for what I told her it cost me.

i've been to that spot by that old bridge when in tasmania. (see pic on the site's home page). i remember a large rowdy gang of giant geese ruling that area. these guys would make for tough detecting there, not to mention the truckloads of poo on the ground to dig through!

good luck with the site anyway.

yes i now removed Teknetics from my store, found out that the Australian importer was not carrying stock or very little stock, so why buy from a importer who dont import till you order? better going direct to USA for Teknetics

Cheers, glad that you are boni fide. The reason why I was suspicious was that we had a Christchurch based guy selling fake Whites detectors and possibly fake Keen dredges not too long ago. He was selling them through trademe and seemed legit. When he was outed on this site he immediately closed down his website. Can't be too careful.

Thanks, yes Teknetics have setup Brad as there as Australian Importer, Australian detecting shops have to register with him to be dealers. Keeps the chinese away. I have similar deals with Fisher, Garrett etc i have to deal with the Australian Importer who give Australian dealers wholesale rates.
Postage i am working on the cheapest rate to get to NZ, will have that sorted by Monday. But TNT and Aust Post look to be best options.
