Well I usually find something walking back to the car while hovering the detector..

Of course you might make people think you're a bit 'special' if you try swinging your leg out in front of you.

Personally I'd go for the ones that look like a walking stick and put on a fake limp *8^)

Wouldn't it be better to paint the stick white and wear dark glasses? The movement of the stick would be a sweep which is better for a detector. Also if there are a few of you in a park then you could just line up singing "Three Blind Mice" and if questioned just say you are shooting a James Bond remake....

By the way Jase, if you do sell the Excal for one of those it might pay to ask if they have a diving fin version :)

Didn't LifeJockey mention mounting a Pro-pointer to a walking stick?

Maybe just crawl around the ground with a Pro-pointer, make it look like you have lost something i.e contacts......nose ring etc...

Actually I let my kids use the propointer around swings and playground equipment, is good for targets (hopefully) above the matting. Could well be deeper than the sandals *8^)

Hey how about mounting a sliding lesche into the other sandal for digging (yes another bond reference). Not that they used a Lesche but you know what I mean!

Add a solar panel on your back and trickle feed a battery charger, you would never need to stop lol
