Pro Pointer or Pro Find - Which is the better?

But, has anyone had experience with the Minelab Pro Find? Same as, better, worse? TIA.

Hi KGbee, there is a good review from a guy who owns both he did some air tests and the Profind seemed to have the edge on all of those tests, but in the ground testing where it counts the Garrett won. Sorry don't have the link but if you do a search you should be able to find the review.

The pinpointer is to just make the final recovery easier. More important to me is how robust the pinpointers are and how powerful the vibration is (never remove my headphones so audio is not important). I have heard some negatives about the strength of the Pro-finds vibrator but since I've never used a Pro-find I couldn't say if its any better or worse then a Pro-pointer or which one is more robust.

Price is not firmed up yet but Whites are looking at about $150USD:
