here is some specs on it -

"Save your oxygen and helps you find more relics , faster , under water!

For dive depth as deep as 40M
With LED lighting vibration and audio, adjustable
PI technology high sensitivity
One button control
Use 2AA battery or one 9V battery
Anti-slip texture film
Neon green battery cap with lanyard anchor
LED or vibration or both indication"

If the X-Pointer is anything to go by then it should be a solid piece of gear, sold & serviced locally, which IMO is the biggest benefit -

Hope this helps ;)

I have recently spoken with Guardian regarding the release date as he has been flat out with the manufacturer trying to get the release date/pricing and other relevant information -

This is what he has so far from the supplier -

"Our waterprrof Pin-pointer will push in market very soon, but still need a short time. We knew Garrett push the waterprrof pinpointor already, but we have our own schedule, everyting is under control"

Not much at this stage however it should not be too long now I would imagine

my new x-pointer which arrived overnight delivery from Guardian. Took it down to a raelly trashy area that seemed a likely spot in 30 mins using only the xpointer retrieved
$7 spending, 55c old NZ coins and a 1977 US quarter.
Stoked with the xpointer!!!
