http://www.tiptopshop.com.au/bounty-hunter-tracker-iv-metal-detector.html is the url and the specific detector I am eyeing, has anyone bought from them? Do you reckon the bounty hunter tracker IV is a decent starter metal detector?

I have $350 to play with but I can get this landed for $208 .

Any advice would be appreciated :)

I'd let them keep it.

Sycotoad has a few machines to sell - That Teknetics would be a great choice, I'd send him a PM

Hi there, I have one of these. Havnt used it for years as I am in to gold detecting now, but I found it a very capable detector with good discrimination ability & also 3 tone discrimination. It could handle ground that my Garrett Treasure Ace 300 couldnt. The Treasure Ace is a good detector too. So yes I would rate the Tracker lV a great entry level detector. Like any detector, just get to learn its personality.

Good luck out there

JW :)
