Unfortunately I have broken the screw wing nut and plastic bolt where it attaches onto the actual disc. Can anyone who has one of these detectors tell me where to purchase these plastic bits, if you have the same problem. The whole machine not much use otherwise. Apparently spare parts not available. Thanks

Pop down to local hardware, I've used the plastic nut and bolt they sell for toilet seats before.

yep plastic dunny bolt will work and a heck of a lot cheaper!

Ages ago Drunkbrother found a place that sells nylon equivalents, here is the link to his post

For anyone with a Fisher - I think (I could be wrong) that the toilet seat bolts are to thicker gauge.
