The new Fisher F44 looks to be an exciting machine with its tear drop concentric coil and the weatherproof (virtually waterproof) control box housing -

Cant wait to try one out - http://www.dankowskidete...ussions/read.php?2,83660

Hello Sycotoad.

I Just purchased the f44 last week and had a chance to give it a run in the weekend.

on first impressions it is light and well built.

I cant really comment on how good or bad the performance is as this is my first detector

however my first dig resulted in a coin so that was a positive start even if it was just a 10c.

ill keep posting in the coming months and we will see how it works once i understand it a bit better.

regards,

DiggerJohn
