Thanks Andy, a great read. I often go up to Louis creek and always find nice gold. There is heaps of evidence of past workings, big piles of stones and rock up the sides of the stream bed. Good to read about the other areas where gold has been found, areas that maybe worth a poke around when the weather improves.
