Hey all, just a quick question.
Can someone tell me where the public area is to detect by the Arrow River?

Thanks

dunno about the detecting part but the fossicking area limits can be found by looking under the permit map on this site, found up the top of screen. ends just above the red footbridge, the lower limit is down around the tobins track ford i think. not much good for detecting for several reasons. a. been thrashed, b.full of hot rocks so detectors such as gold bugs a waste of time, and c. the river is deep in tailings so any gold big enough to detect is probably deeper than your detector will penetrate. but who knows. there are better places to detect for sure. won't ruin it for other detectorists and name anywhere and don't want to put you off. there is some bedrock but you might be better off using a sluice box and pan there.
