Hi Bugeye,

I'm always keen to join like minded people out in the bush for a bit of gold hunting. I'm based in Christchurch and like to get away for the odd weekend to have a fossick. Still pretty much a newbie though!

Cheers,
Gavin

Havent really had a chance to play with it yet. If there was someone more experianced with it to help me would be much appreciated. There is a wealth if you dig on the net and the manual is not to bad. Should be a very interesting learning experiance.

Hi Bungeye,

That would be awesome - always keen to get away for a weekend. I'm in the UK visiting relatives at the moment but fly back in about a week.

I've got a detector too, but think it's more of a coin machine (a C-Scope CS 3 MX) but also have a sluice box, crevice sucker, etc. if you fancy a play with them as well.

Cheers,
Gavin
