proline , float better, bigger box, better built, incredible suction, just my personal thought, hell of a big dredge though

Proline for sure! Build quality is far more substantial. Currently using a twin engine proline 5"

They are well made but the Sluice box is pretty average its main feature being the wave classifier
Makes you wonder how much thought they put into fine gold recovery ?

proline all the way baby pumps are much better than keene for a start build quality is much better floats the lot....
i would advise a twin engine tho and the day you get it change out fittings from pump to flare and foot valves to cam locks

Gbm is right. I built a custom 3 stage box similar to keenes and it out performs by a mile!

Never used a Keene, but I am running the 5in double 6.5hp's also. All I have to say is that it sucks like a $10,000 hooker, and bites like a Great White if you get your hands in the way. Only problem is No one deals with them in NZ. If your still interested in a Proline, and not looking for one ASAP, send me a PM mate. I have friends in America that could sort out a used one and have it here for you for next season. No money down till it arrives. I might also have a contact for one in NZ. 6in used with the dual 9hp's.
My advice is, unless you can leave it in the river for long periods, get the 5in. The 6 is WAY bigger and not as easy to pull out of the river on a daily basis. Just my own thoughts but its your call.
