Went for a drive yesterday and found a wee spot that looked good for detecting for relics etc...found some nice silvers etc and then in the last hour of the day, a nice medal turned up. To be honest I presumed it to be silver at first but after getting it home and cleaning up I found the 9ct stamp. My local jeweller man just confirmed this in the last 10 mins and told me replacement vale is $450 minium. Fuckn rock on man I AM HAPPY!

Gold!!! Stiffy material a find like that :-D

Oh bugga - it is a nice find however and indeed a real treasure - now all your silver coins and gold items, real treasures that is should be hoarded, a bit like Scrooge McDuck - be like me years ago and get an old clay crock, a two gallon one then put all the real treasures in it and aim to fill it!

Thanks everyone yes I have to admit I've had half a silly on all day hahaaa

In the pic you can see one of the gold golf balls is missing but I have that and asked jeweller today about re fixing it..he weighed it at 6.3 grams, absolutley loved it and wants to clean it to reatatch it...should I have it cleaned ya reckon?

It rained today so I snuck out for 45 mins and found 5 silver coins and a junk ring!!! It DEFINITELY pays to go out when the ground is wet....messy but the silver coins scream "here we are!!!"

Yeah I was out after the rain today and noticed that the coins were ringing out good. Didnt get any silver coins but got a 925 amethyst ring, my first knucklebone and a 925 earing. Havnt found any gold yet though! Great find mate!
