I was originally skeptical about them, so I contacted Fisher in the U.S and they verified they are legitimate sellers. I have purchased both a gold bug, a gold bug pro from them along with a pinpointer, a set of head phones as well as coil and rain covers. To my understanding they are the only official dealers in N.Z for Fisher products. Any doubts that I had originally about them are completely dismissed, and agree 100 percent with number8wire's opinion of them. I vary rarely comment on this forum anymore (as I don't have the time) however I am more then happy to take the time to recommend Puiaki supply. I hope this helps. FossickFester :)

Chris went dark after I sent him a pinpointer to see if he'd like to buy it. Didn't send me any money or return my pinpointer - calls and emails unanswered, pinpointer never returned (that was about a year ago).

I must say though it's just the lack of modern online "shopping cart" type store that puts up the flags, nothing else.

Fisher is undoubtedly is one of the leaders in this industry and Rob @ Puiaki Supply is one to see -
