Hey guys

Long time follower and always like the stories from the old timers.. Or should I say the more experienced?
Anyway I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light for me in regards to the Taipo river. It's one trip I've been talking about for a long time. This hobbie bites hard and has got me good I'm just small time only run a wee sluice but have been wanting to test some spots up there. Could anyone point me in a good direction. I'm aiming to leave Friday and stay in Dillon hut come home Sunday.

Thanks for any help or info

Some interesting info here - http://www.paydirt.co.nz/forums/yaf_postst2459findunread_-No--Gold-Creek.aspx

But the creek right next to the hut you'll be staying at is also worth checking out.

Thanks for that Gavin. I actually like that post a few years ago when you put it up. That's how long I've been wanting to get up there and now I've finally found the time. I guess I go and check it out providing there's no rain this weekend

Cheers
Mike
