Hi Gavin, I have heard OZ $10,700.00.

Hows your SDC 2300 going? Havnt seen any show & tells from you :)

I didnt get out for a detect this weekend but for Waitangi Friday I went for a few hours walk & managed 7 bits for just over 2 grams

Saturday was a hell walk to some interesting ground & old workings.

This was a deep dig for the wee Sadie coil. A good 300mm

But worth it

The walk in & out was a big effort. Ended up with just 6 bits for just shy of 2 grams

Woke up yesterday morning to this out side our lounge window. Thats Coronet Peak in the back ground.

Good luck out there

Hi JW,

Wow - that's expensive!!!

I've had my oldies visiting so been up on the north island for a few weeks then Fiji for another so not had a chance to swing my new toy lately :(

Good to see you pulling yet more gold out. Wish I had it right on my doorstep, maybe I should move down to Q'town too! :P I've been tempted!

Cheers,
Gavin

I thought that Metal Kiwi of detectnz.co.nz had the minelab dealership for New Zealand. At least hes part of this forum and will provide backup, not sure about trademe dealers and warrantees, specialy for 10K +

Hey John

Was trying to work out where you had gone as the Land Marks looked so familiar, LOL, and then I worked it out, its a nicw walk in there, not as hard as your making out ;-P, but interesting you found some bits there, may have a look in the creek bed some day a little further down.

Certainly if you had the cash it would be a very interesting toy to get and give a wurl, I would personally get a kick out of testing things like this, alas money dont grow on no trees currently :P

For me the interesting thing is this is new technology, not just another revamped pi or vlf machine but a whole new ball game.

Hi Dave, Mead 1 is the minelab agent in Christchurch. Check out this link from minelabs website.
http://www.minelab.com/a...ts=miles&dealername=

He is selling bloody cheap GPX 5000's at the moment.

Good luck out there
